Clark waited on the Opotiki Borough Council last night in connection with an offer made to the council for the sale of the Lyric Hall for the sum of £775. 31 r. Wylde, who spoke eu beimll of the Opotiki 1.0.0. F., referred to the scheme for the acquisition of a suitable building for health and recreational purposes. He stated that the Lyric Hall was too big for the purposes of the lodge and they were prepared to offer the buildings and land to the council at a price which was ex.Tvctly half of the Government valuation.
