DELLUATIi DRYING OPERATION LONDON, April 20—The explosive which blew up and killed a man at the Witton, Birmingham, ammunition works of Imperial Chemical industries on March 22 is so sensitive to. friction while being dried that it cannot be bandied. '£his. is so sensitive to friction, especially when being dried, that it is never handled during the process. “The drying operation is, in fact, controlled from a separate hut.” No ciio should enter the hut until the process was completed.
