The driver was a clergyman and,-a.s he has.received nothing toward travelling 1 expenses, lie was at a loss to see.why,'he should not take his passengers to their destination. . u •_ It is understood that the traffic inspector later followed the other c..r and informed the occupants that lie had refused their team mates permission to travel by private car. Officials of the club are indignant that the inspector could interfere in the matter, and they question his authority to ch - tate to a- private car owner whom liemay take as passengers in his ear.
