MR. HULTQUIST HONOURED
DIVISIONAL REPRESENTATIVE At the 23rd. annual conference of - A the New Zealand’ Labour Party which -- concluded in Wellington on Friday last, it was announced that- -Mr. A. G. ,a Hultquist, M.P. for the Bay of Plenty - had been elected to represent No. 3 Divisional Area on the National Exo- : cutive of the Party. No. 3 Divisional Area includes the Bay of Plenty, Grs- A borne, Napier, Hawke’s Bay and Waipawa electorates. There wore five candidates for the position including „Agjj Mr. D. W. Qdeinah M.P., who had r *|v| been the represeiitative for % number of years and >vho stood for re-election. The other candidates were the Hon. W. E. Barnard, M.P., H. M. Christie - f (ex. M.P. for Waipawa), D. O’Rourke, . and Aitr.
