RESCUE AT SEA
MAN CLINGING TO BUOY PERTH, March 26.—A man was found clinging to a bell buoy in the sea., about five miles from Cottesloe, on Saturday morning. He told twoi Italian fishermen, who rescued him, that lie had swum out to sea to escape a shark which had chased him near the shore the previous evening. He had spent the niglit'on the buoy. The man left his clothing in a cubicle at tile Cbttesloe bathijig pavilion early on Friday evening. 9 he. next- morning a search was made for him. The- fishermen did not return until about- 5 p.m., when they, jmt- him ashore at- Leighton, not far front Cottesloe.
The man walked into the Cottesloe haitliing pavilion about 6 p.ui. and asked for his clothes. He fas subsequently charged with being of unsound mind. - ' :
