Schedule of “thirds” in various* districts under the control of tiic Gisborne: Land Board were considered by the hpurd at its. monthly meeting on Satufdlay. The Commissioner of Grown lands, Mr. H. L. Primrose, presided over the following : —Messrs! G. O. Donovan, A. G. Nolan, J. H. Reid and R. H. Wicksteed. The receiver of 'land revenue was authorised to make payment in the following instances: Accrued “thirds” in the Cook, Wairoa, Matakaoa, and Waikohu counties, accrued “fifths” in tlie Waikohu County. Mr. W. G. Hope was granted the Tease of section 4, block Xll, Moanui S.D., tlie area of which is 2272 acres, .12 perches. M-jr. Ihe Papu was granted a temporary tenancy of a part of section 4, block 1, Waioelca. S.l>., subject to the lessee erecting a fence between the area, and the scenic reserve. The question of re-pricing lot I of section. 4, block VIII, Waioelca. S.D., was considered and it was decided to withdraw the section from selection under section 156 of the Land Act, 1924. The question of re-disposal of section 3, block VIII, Opotilci S.D., was submitted for consideration and it was decided that the section be withheld front .selection. The hoard decided to withdraw section 5, block XII, Waioeka "i.D. from selection and to leave the question of the disposal or section 86, Hangaroa village, in the hands of the commissioner.
