Ltd. .report having held their visual monthly stock sale at the Opotiki saleyards oa Thursday, the (3th. instant, when a good average yarding,-of cattle -came forward, also several pens of sheep. Fat wethers account of AlessrsRedpath .Bros., AVairata, made 15s, whilst a pen of mixed sex lambs made lls Gd. A feature of the yarding was the large number of very forward to fat cows which- were .mostly dairy sorts. The top price for fat cows was £5 6s. which sum was realised! for a big Shorthorn cow offered for sale by Air. G. Vanstone. Other cows account Air. AY. Storer made to 415. Alany fat- cows sold from £4 ssto £4 los, lighter £3 10s to £4 2s Gd ; store cows, £2 5s to £3 .7s Gd; boners, 2os to £2; likely looking.'dairy heifers account Air.
