Blusgrava brought to the notice of the chamber the necessity for urgent work being carried out at BlcKay’s crossing, on the Gisborne-Opo-tiki highway. Supporting Air. Blusgrave. Bir. Fraser said that money was being spent all over the country for road, bridge, and maintenance work, but the Gisborne district was being neglected. Citing the case of the Gisborne-Opotiki road, Mr. Fraser said that the district had a good case to offer here, especially in view of the recent fatal accident on this hill. After further discussion, it was decided to bring the matter before the Blain Highways Board and Bir. A. G. Hultquist, the member for the Bay of Plenty electorate. "T
