MASONIC HOTEL PURCHASE
OPOTIKI ENTERPRISE Air. E. W. Oswald, who Jias just completed a five years’ lease of t-lie Alasonic Hotel, Opotild, has purchased the freehold of the hotel and the adjoining garage occupied by the R.MTransport Coy. Ltd: During his term in Opptiki. Mr. Oswald has effected many improvements to the Alasonic, which lias’ bfee'n brought into keeping with the present-day amenities demanded by the travelling public. The installation of hot and cold water in'"all. bedrooms has made the house most popular with guests. Further improvements thought necessary by the proprietor will shortly be carried out and more bar space will be provided. The Alasonic Hotel is one of the few that is not owned by the Breweries and wine merchants and Air. Oswald has been fortunate indeed to acquire the freehold of this property. The hotel, under the proprietorship of Air. Oswald, has already made a name for itself among-the travelling public, the service being considerably ahead of many larger hotels in other centres.
