TRIAL - FLIGHT ON SATURDAY THE, OPOTIKI: FARES The Opotiki News has been informed! that a trial survey flight- over the Auckland Gisborne air route will bp flown on Saturday next. It had been intended to make flights over two- days but, the latest information is that the big passenger plane will make the survey trip on Saturday only. The first passenger' flight will he flown on Monday from Auckland to Gisborne. The fares to- and from Opotiki. will be as follows Auckland to Opotiki, £3 2s 6d ; Tauranga, to Opotiki, £1 7s 6d; Opotiki to Gisborne, £1 7s 6d. These are the single fares. ’With the introduction of this service, the journey between Opotiki and Auckland, occupying almost a whole dlay, will he accomplished in less than two hours.

Any further information iu connection with the inauguration of tit© passenger service will be published in Friday’s edition of the Opotiki News.
