O,LD COMMITTEE RETURNED LITTLE INTEREST SHOWN ;■ ■ ( • ’ ■ v ■ . - . - With the exception of Opotiki, where approximately ' half the total number of votes in the Bay of Plenty Licensing District wore- cast, there was very little interest in the election of the Bay Licensing Committee. The old committee, comprising Messrs. A. Young’, G. S l . Moody, A. Nicol, M. Doyle and lb. P. Jackson, were returned in that order? The unsuccessful candidate was Mr. CL Pipe. , Votes were recorded as the various polling booths as follows:
