WAIMANAt G,FT EVENING , (News Correspondent.) A most pleasant gift evening was held in the AAbiimana Hall recently. The guest of honour was Aliss, Georgina Spanliake, who is to he married shortly. The evening, was spent at dancing, the music being supplied by Mrs. Al. King, and Ai'iss AL. A\arcllnw obliged with extras. Air. Al. King capably acted as AI.C". The. Alonte Carlo dances were won by Aliss R. Hughes and Air. H. Spanhake and Airs. J. AA'ardlaw and Air. King. Alter a dainty supper had been served by the ladies. Air. E. Fleming in a bright speech, asked the guest of homin' to come forward and accept the many beautiful and useful gifts from all present, with best wishes and the best of luck for the future. Air. Bernie Hughes most suitably responded cn behalf of Aliss Span hake and himself, thanking all for the beautiful gifts, which were much appreciated.
