DANCE AT WAIMANA

CONOLUSLUX OF ANNEAL SHOW ' ,’4 In conclusion to the annual show held at- Waimana recently, a dance was held in the hall and .was a. greatsuccess. The music was supplied by Airs. Ai. King and extras were played <>y Aliss Ai. Wardlaw and Aliss Jean Grover. Air. AI. King capably acted as MX', and Air. R. Alarton was doorkeeper. The ALonte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss S. Grover and Air. li. Boynton and Aliss AL. Wardlaw and Air. H. Kinsella. A box of chocolates l'or competition went to Air. lan Rulr; a cheese donated by the Waimana- I'attory was won by Mrs. E.-Hill (Taneatua). and a box of heine-made sweets donated by Aliss Ai. Stansbury was won by Aliss R. Spanhake. After a dainty supper had been served, Air. F. J. Savage thanked all those who had helped in any t way at ali to- make the show it was. Air. Savage, especially thanked the judges, stewards, donors of the

special prizes, and the exhibitors. He then presented the,cup to Airs. T: W. Wardlaw, congratulating her on her success. Air. Savage then presented ’the special prizes, and congratulated the Women’s Institute cn its most successful show/ The show committee wished to thank those gentlemen who sp kindly helped in the carting ot benches and erecting and dismantling of same. v .
