PRESIDENT’;* R KPORT

The following annual report was presented by the president. Mr. H. L. Carey : “Our 1933 trials were held at. “Burnside” under conditions winch artimes gave cause lor- anxiety. The weather, although not had:, could have been bettor. Our thanks go to Messrs. Reid Bros, for the use of the grounds and providing the sheep. These two factors are the mainstay of our trials, for without them we would be helpless. -Mr. F. Reid again came forward to act as judge and as usual gave satisfaction. Once more we have to thank the ladies for coming, forward and running the refreshmentbooth and we can assure them that the club greatly appreciate their services. I will ask you. to consider improving the facilities! of the booth. Last year it was not of the best. Various, schemes - will be submitted to you, andj I ask you to choose something with a degree of comfort. Due last meeting was unduly long, running into five days, and as time is given voluntarily, we must try and curtail this. One of the main reasons was the number of entries', which proved a record. Here again I will ask you to give this consideration and try and devise means of shortening the meeting: Although we have come through with’ a small credit balance we will have to> consider • entry fees. 1 have gone into this somewhat and find we are charging the lowest fee of any c1ub.,.1. lKiy**-hoard of. A lot of ' the clubs—more in the South—charge 7s Gd. We will have to keep a careful watch on our finances, - i-sy ■■ . „•
