DALGETY AND CO'S REPORT

Messrs, Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their usual fortnightly pig sale at the Opotiki salevards on Monday the Gth. I'ebruary.

A good average yarding of pigs came to hand and sold well under

keen competition at late rates. Heavy haconers- account Mr. A. G. Pile made £3 12s, others £'3 os to £3 Os, . Lighter £2 17s to £3 4s; largo stores 30s to £2. fit her stores 25s to 3l)s; slips to £1 os fid; whilst there was practically no demand for weaners many being sold at from Os to 10s Od.
