Ml!. I'. L. STEED The death occurred in Auckland recent! v* ol Mr. Frederick Lawiencc ♦Steed. Kopuku, who. was a director of tho Franklin Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited. Mir. Stood, who was horn at Herekino. North Auckland, was the fourth soil of the late Air. and Mrs. Matthew Steed. As a young man lie worked in Auckland. He married l in the city, and later resided in tin' Gisborne district, where lie managed a. sheep station. I'or some years following, he was farming in the O'potiki district. He took up land in Kopuku in 1.927 and had resided there since Mr. Steed is survived by his wife, three sons and six daughters.
