OBITUARY
MRS. MEREPEKA MIKAERE Tho death toolq place on Friday, January 27, at her late resklenco, Awaawakino, Opotiki, ot : Mrs. Merepeke Mikaere. The late Mrs. Mikaero had suffered an illness over a number of years but had borne her sufferings with great cheerfulness. A daughter of Mr. Harry Williams, of Torero, and of high rank in her tribe, the deceased was highly respected by both Eluropean and Maori people of tho district. Her husband, Mr. J). Mikaere and a daughter are left to mourn their loss.
