OTAR A MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of tlie Otara ■Women’s Institute he!<l on 'J.'uesclay. January 4th. Owing to holidays and harvesting there was an unusually small attendance. In the absence of the president, and vice-president. M|rs. P. Black took the chair. The usual business was transacted and l this was followed by the roll-call “A Strange Coincidence.” There was also an amusing competition which was won by Mrs. Jv. Brown. This was a general knowledge questionnaire. entitled “Do- you know." Mention was made of a garden •party to be held at Mrs. Noble s residence, Hospital Hill, on Tuesday, January I7th. A dainty afternoon tea was served after which the National Anthem brought to a close a pleasant afternoon.
