ADVISED TO HAVE BEST Air. A. G. Hultquist, -AI.P. for the. Bay of Plenty, and Airs. Hultquist returned to Whakatane on Thursday last, after an absence of two weeks in Auckland. Mr. Hultquist remained) in Whakatane ever the week-end and attended to a large accumulation of correspondence and other business which had mounted up over the holidays. Yesterday, Air. and Airs. Hultquist left on a visit toi the South Island, and expect to be away for nearly three weeks. They plan to visit several places during their South Island tour including Queenstown, Eglington Valley, and on the way back to call at Blenheim, Picton, Nelson. Westport, and Greymoutli. Plans which Air. Hultquist had previously made to tour the, Bay of Plenty Electorate and deliver a series of public addresses on the Government’s Financial Policy and Exchange CoiitroL arc now postponed until a later date. For some time Air. Hultquist has been feeling the effects. of three years of strenuous work, and lie has been advised to have a short rest. Urgent matters requiring liis attention during liis absence from the electorate should he referred to him by letter addressed to him at Whakatane in tlie usual way. Arrangements, have been made for all cf his mail to bp forwarded to him at the various places he will be.
