Songs were delightfully rendered by children I rum tlu* Ivutarcrc school, and were aeartily encored'. Mrs. It. Looney arranged a little programme ol snugs, recitations, lulkdancitig and plnvette by junior elfildren ot Waiotahi school, which was very much enjoyed. A competition “Jumbled Members’ .Nairn’s” was won by Mrs. Burke and Mrs. J. Anderson. The competitions resulted as lullows. Best ironed tablecloth: Airs. \\ . L. Looney 1, Mrs. Ban 2. Best Jiome made hotter: Mrs. Wells I. Best bloom; Mrs. Ban 1, Mrs. Jeffery (gladiolus) 2. Best vegetables: Mrs. ,White (cabbage) 1, Mrs Jeffery (enuliHower) 2.
Afternoon ten was served l»y Mesdames Newton. Wilson, Robinson and Du l’ontet, and tlit* singing of the National Anthem closed, a pleasant alternoon.
