MONTHLY STOCK SALE Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their usual monthly stock sale at the Opr.fiki saleyards yesterday, when an exceptionally large yarding of cattle came lorward including a considerable number of fat cattle. Prices remained oai a par with last month’s sale ami. a total clearance was ell’eoted under the hammer. Several pens of sheep were yarded and sold at satisfactory figures. A feature of the yarding was an exceptional line ol yearling Jersey boilers which sole! at a. satisfactory figure of £5 3s 6d. We quote the following prices:— Fat rows, to £7 .‘is; others. £5 15s to £6 1.75; lighter, £4 10s to £5 .lOs; forward. £3 9s to £4 9s; good stoic cows. £3 to £'.i 9s; boners. 60s to £2 15s; dairy cattle, good sorts oi milking cows, £7; others. £5 to £'6 IPs; bulls, potters £5 l Os; yearling bulls, to £4. Horses: several hacks were ottered and were sold from £7 to £8 10s. Sheep: -Ith wethers, 22s (id for a line of 43; m.s. hoggets, 20s 6.1: Others. 17s 10d to 19s 4d; aged ewes, shorn to 8s 6d and others with Imu Its 9 s 5d all counted. Several lots of sundries, were offered, a Alassey Harris mower making £26. and chain harrows £3 17s 6d.
