Mrs. A- Da.vey is spending a holiday in Gisborne as the guest of Mrs. J. 0. Musgrave. > ##w* * * * Mr. and Mrs.. Frank Morgan and family, of Auckland, and formerly of Opotik'i. were recent visitors to Opotiki, on their return from Gisborne where they attended the wedding of their son, Raymond. WEDDING MOIUMN—SWHENSONA wedding of local interest was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Gisborne on Saturday last, when Nancy Kathleen, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs- W. G. Stephenson, of Gisborne, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Raymond Francis, elder son <>f Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Morgan, of A nek land, and formerly of Opotiki. The Rev. Father N. Porridge, formerly of Opotiki, oflieinted and Mr. D. G. Dyer, a friend of the bridegroom, presided at the organ. The bride wore a lovely goiwn of ivory French embossed silk lace over matching satin designed on Princess lines. Her beautiful veil was of silk tulle arranged from a coronet of orange blossoms. Her trailing bouquet was of cream roses and Christmas, lilies.

Attending the bride were Miss Hilda Moore and Miss Alice Murland, who wore cream embossed talfeta gowns fashioned on Empire lines. Boleros of cyclamen taffeta were worn and becoming caps of flowers in shades of violet and petunia attached to shoulder length veils. Flower fans of sweet pens, in cyclamen tunings were carried. Attending the bridegroom were Mr. K. \V. Harrison as best man and Mr. Lee. Stuart, formerly of Opotiki. as groomsman. A reception was later held at Le Grand Cato and Air. and Airs. R. I'. Morgan subsequently left by plane on a tour of tin* North Island.
