Clearing Sale. Messrs. Dnlgety and Company Ltd. and the N.Z- Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., acting under instructions from the Public Trustee, executor of the estate of the late Mary Simpson., will hold' a clearing sale on the property, Nukuhou-North, on Wednesday, November 16, when live and dead stock will be auctioned. Bridge Construction. Tenders are being called by the Public Works Department for the construction of three bridges in reinforced concrete on the new coast highway. Plans and specifications may be seen at the Public Works offices at Opotiki, Gisborne, Tauranga and Auckland. Athletic Club Points. At the committee meeting of tho Opotiki Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club on Friday night, it was decided that no points will be awarded to athletes who are' not affiliated before Friday night. Painful Accident. A painful accident befell Mr. Jack ltohinson, caretaker at the Opotiki Golf Course, this morning, when the tractor which he was operating turned over on a slope, crushing his foot and fracturing his- big toe. The injured man was admitted to the Opotiki Hospital-
