GOOD SAMARITAN
CLERGYMAN GIVES BOOTS LONDON, .Aug. 31.—While walking with his wife near Narbetli, Pembrokeshire, England, the Rev- R. M. Williams, pastor of Narbetli Baptist Church, came across a. tramp whose boots had worn through. . The man had trudged 10 miles and had another 10 miles to go before ho reached his destination. Mis feet wore blistered and bleeding. / Mr. Williams went up to him. “Kero,” lie said, “take those old boots off. i’ll give you my shoes instead.” And 30-yoar-old! Mr. Williams took off bis shoes, began to walk the two miles home in his stockinged feet. After a mile and a-half, however, the freshly tarred road began to be uncomfortable. Mrs. Williams hurried borne and fetched her husband another pair of shoes.
