NOVELTY EVENING AT WAIMANA NATIONAL PARTY FUNCTION A delightful evening was spent at tile resilience of Air and Airs C. Wylde by a large number of young folk who thoroughly enjoyed the programme of old fashioned parlour games. There was a great deal of bmusemenp and all joined in heartily' to make the evening a success. Air Leo Rucker, on behalf of the guests thanked Air and Airs AYyicle lor their enjoyable evening. The hostesses were M'esdames O. AVylde. 1. {Savage. Rucker, J. Brown. T- WardJaw, Misses It. and Gi SpanhaUc and .H.eo!e. Others present were: Airs Williamson (Auckland), Aliss B. Watson (Te Puke). Aliss J. (Jrover, Aliss J. Brown. Airs AL Wardlaw; Alessrs J. Brown, It. Brown. B. Hughes, H. Spauhake. J. Brown, I). Boynton, J. Walker. A- Wardlaw, T. Savage. DANCE AT WAIOTAiHI HALL Although the weather conditions on Friday night did not favour the dance, organised by some of the members of the local committee of the National Party, there was a fair attendance and a very happy evening was spent. The function was held in tlie Waiotahi Hall. A popular programme of music was played by the Kit Kat Orcl/estra. Air Reuben Looney carried out the duties of AI.C. A dainty supper was served and dancing was ’resumed until midnight.
