OPOTIKI PIC SALE ,|)AI.GET VS RKI’OKT Messrs Dalgety and Go. Ltd. report having held their lortnightly pig sale at the Opotiki saleyards on .Monday, when more than the usual number ot pigs was pennc’d. the yarding comprising chiefly large stores, a demand lor which bad ceased considerably as compared with the previous sale. Weauers and slips remained lirm at late rates whilst bacon • bowed a slight drop. We quote the following prices:— Baeoners, to £8 lbs; porkers, heavy and good quality, £2 lbs to ,C2 Ms; light, .£2 to £2 9s; large stores, in 22 8s; others. JEM lbs to £2 os; slips to .£1 Ills ; others. £1 4s to £1 7s; weaners .£1 to ,£1 8s for good stores and I:3s Gel to 19s for others.
