WEDNESDAY Following is the draw for the second round of the Eclectic Competition to be played on. the Opotiki links on Wednesday:— Commencing -on No. 1 tee: Miss Holloway v. M'iss Upton, Mrs Vanstone v. M ( r s Newell, Mrs Baigent v. Miss Hollard, Miss L. Gordon v. Mrs Carter, Mrs Sydenham v. Miss Wilson, Miss Recce v. Mrs Bridger, Mrs Gordon v. Mrs Davies, Miss Young v. Mrs Kidd, Miss McLean v. Mgs Morris.! Commencing at No. 17j tee after 1 p.ni.: Mrs Fetch v. Miss Bryant. Mrs McGaldon v. Miss N. Clark, Miss O’Reilly v. Mrs de Lautour, Mrs Shove v. Mrs Parkinson, Mrs Black v. Mrs Mail. There was no men’s competition on the Opotiki links on Saturday. Two Opotiki teams were to have visited Waimana and Taneatua yesterday to play return games but the visits had to he cancelled; owing to the bad state of the weather.
