MAN’S LE3 BROKEN

KICKED BY HORSE

A right leg just above the ankle was sustained by Mr Alec. Neilson on Friday, afternoon-when- he was kicked by a horse. At the time of the accident Mr Neilson was engaged on Messrs Reid Bros, farm on Tablelands operating a, top-dresser. It is thought that while the horse was turning it kicked out, striking Mr Neilson who was • sitting on the machine.

A fellow worker who was nearby heard Mr Neilson’s calls for assistance and conveyed him to the house where medical attention was received. Mi- Neilson was later conveyed to the Opotiki Hospital where he is making satisfactory progress.
