TOATOA NEWS

(From Our Own Correspondent). Tuesday, 9th. August, saw the last of the Toatoa factory buildings, the last of the sections of the factory manager’s cottage being taken by lorry on its way to Opotiki, the building having been purchased by Mr Debreeeny. This building had been standing for 26 years and was still in excellent repair. A terrific storm swept Toatoa on the evening of last Tuesday, hut no serious damage was done.
