PEDICREE JERSEY SALE TO I* PRICE FOR COW 50 GNS. • On behalf of *Mr Janies Paul of toatoa, the' New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. conducted a most satisfactory replenishing sale on the farm at Verrall’s Road, Opotiki, yesterday. Buyers were present from Tauranga and Whakatane and all parts of the Bay of Plenty Entry consisted of annual draft of yearling bulls, and a number of aged pedigree Jersey cows that Mr Paul was forced to sell to make room for younger cattle. The good average of £22 2s and £l9 16s for hulls and cows respectively was obtained and we report almost satisfactory clearance, all cattle being disposed of. Some of the sales were:— 5-vear pedigree Jersey bull, 26 gns.. to Mrs lveenlyskky of Toatoa • yearling bull, Toiatoa Chalice, to Mr Syd. Lambert, at 28 gns.; bull. Toatoa Golden Spur, at 221 gns to Gordon Hamilton, of Okiore; bull. Toatoa Grey Night, to Henry M’eCallion. 23i gns.; 3-year bull, Allandale King Pin, bred by A. Horne of Kuku. 33A gns. to, Boris Black; yearling bull, Toatoa Nobleman, to Mr Andrew Niool. at 281 gns.; 2-year-hull. Toatoa, Homer, to Mr Percy Rumble, at 26 gns.; yearling bull, Toatoa Prosper, to S. W. Brown, at 16 gns. Female Cattle; Aged cow. Toatoa Auscerine v.h.c* to James H. Parkinson, ct 50 gns.; 7-year-old l cow, Toatoa Spot, h.e. to Mr Keith Rowe, at 36 gns.; aged cow, Toatoa Queene to Gordon Hamilton, at 20 gns.; aged cow, Toatoa Dusk', to P. G.
