ELANS APPROVED " THE PRIMARY BUILDINGS ALTERATIONS TO BE MADE Advice lias been received by the secretary of the Opotiki District Higli School Committee, Rev. A. Hampton, that the Education Board has approved of the plans for the new High School, which will accommodate Forms. I and H and the Secondary Department. A new room will be added to the present Primary School. .The old portion of the Primary School will be removed.

The new High School will be built on the land formerly known as Connolly’s block, fronting St. John Street. between Wellington and Bridge Street. Most of this block was recently purchased by the Government and will allow plenty of room for buildings and playing areas.
