AIAY VISIT OPOTIKI It was-recently announced that in the near future a flight of nine bombers would visit Gisborne in the course of a flight as scon as arrangements could lie made. s In a letter to tlie “Opotiki News”, the Hon. F. Jones, Alinister of Defence. writes:— “/You may lie assured that every consideration will be given to your request that the machines fly over Opotiki when the itinerary of the Territorial Squadron is being arranged. “You will appreciate the difficulty of arranging such an itinerary, however, when I mention that the members cf the Squadron are all young men in full time civil employment in Wellington and the question of obtaining leave for an extended tour is one of some difficulty.”
