COLLISION AT WAIOTAHI

MOTOR-CYCLE

AND CAR

AIAN SLIGHTLY INJURED

A collision took place on a slight curve just beyond tlie Waiotahi beach on Saturday shortly before five o’clock, between a motor car driven by -Mr AY. J. Cave and a motor-cycle ridden by Mr Jason Knight, a farm hand employed by Air C. Davis, shareniilker of Kutarere. Air Knight, who was riding towards Kutarere with. Alts ; Uavis as a pillion rider was passing a stationary car which was facing in t-lie opposite direction to which lie was travelling. Air Cave’s car also attempted to pass the stationary car and the right hand grip of the motorcycle touched his car. All* Knight received ai blow oil tbe shoulder and both riders were thrown into the grass. All’s Davis was not injured but Air Knight received injuries, to his right shoulder and was admitted to the Opotiki Hospital where it was found lie had fractured a small bone.
