FILM PLAYER SUED
SONG WRITER’S SUIT < WIFE’S AFFIGLTIOXS NEW YORK, April IG.‘ Herbert Marshall, British film piuyer, is being sued for £50,600 damages by Eddy Brandt, singer and song writer; lor the alleged alienation oi Airs Brandt’^affections. Air Alarshall was as unruffled as ever when the news was revealed. His only comment was: “1 don’t know anything about it. See my Ja'wyei.” Airs Brandt is a brunette, 11 years old. She was once a New York model, and has recently risen to small parts in pictures. She divorce*.! her husband in November. The husband says.; “We -were married in 1932 and were very happy. 1 left her in California because she. wanted ter do. movie work, and she" sent me many letters saying how .J|niely she was.” Mr Brandt’s complaint is that Herbert Alarshall stole his wife's heart between January and August last year. Edua Best, the actress wife of Herbert Alarshall, is at present motoring in Germany.
