STRONG HAREi PUT UP FAST OTAIIA BUNS Followers of the Opotiki Hunt Club assembled at Mr Clem. Black’s farm on Saturday for the first hunt to be held at Otara this season. Ideal weather conditions prevailed and a thoroughly enjoyable day was spent by followers ail'd spectators. Ail ’ appetising morning tea was served at the homestead, after which the hounds cast off to hunt over Air Black’s properties. Although there were no Kills, there were some fast runs, a strong bare being put up, giving the followers a thrilling chase before the dogs were finally called off owing to the late hour. A dainty afternoon tea was served at the homestead amidst delightful .surroundings. Opportunity was taken by Air C. T. Clark to thank Air and Mis Black for their hospitality. Air Black responded, assuring the followers time thev had been .most welcome.
