ACCUSED KNEW THE LAY
DISCHARGED BY JEDCE LONDON, April 7. James Brown, a fishmraket employee, accused in New York of sweeping refuse into tingutter after 8 a.m. in violation of Section 10. Chapter 20, of tin- City Code, told the magistrate that he could not be guilty as this section had been repe.-fled. “Theii you know more about it than I do.” said the magistrate. He looked it up, found Brown was right, and discharged him.
