On Monday they received' a communication that their 17-month-old daughter had died at Mahia, and made haste to travel south and learn the details of the child’s illness. AYhile travelling on the road to Mahia their troubles increased by the mother giving birth to twins in the ear. Only one of the new-born babies survived.
