A question of cows Sir. —Apologising for the belated reply to your anonymous correspondent “•Curious Native”, 1 am of the opinion that as the subject matter of his lette'r deals not with the principle of the guaranteed price so much as to the number of my cows, I may he excused in refraining from tendering the desired information. “Curious Native” will have# a fellow feeling for me as it is noticeable that not only docs he conceal the number of his own cow§ (if any), but lie even hesitates to expose his own name.
