(Contributed) The monthly meeting of the Women’s Christian Temperance Unjon was presided over by Mrs R. Sinclair. There was a good attendance and the meeting was chiefly devoted to expressed appreciation of the “White v the-.only women's paper in New Zealand;; edited by Mrs Perryman, aii outstanding personality. To help the young people to avoid the snares of intemperance with its many sorrows was the great theme ot discussion. . The uplifting thought of it all wds: God is on our side and with love for the erring we will do our best in loye. The hostesses were*: Mesdames Drury, Steele and Miss McCailum, who dispensed a dainty tea, Mrs Captain Kirkpatrick presided at the piano. •
