FIRE IN BERENGARIA
THIRD IN FIVE WEEKS LONDON, March 10. / For the third time in five, weeks fire broke out in the 52,000 ton Cun-ard-White .Star liner Berengaria ui the Ocean- Dock, Southampton, last night. One of the crew found a. touriscclass cabin ablaze on “O” deck. The docks fire brigade and tw 0 engines of the Southampton brigade raced to -the liner, but the Berengaria skeleton crew soon had tlie flames, under con- s tro'l. The wood-work ■ was slightly damaged. > Cunard-White Star officials were summoned. “We are very ■ worried > indeed,” one said. “We cannot account for these fires. Their cause is a mystery.
