KUTARERE NEWS

ANNIVERSARY SOCIAL. A very successful social evening was held at the Kutarere Methodist Church on Wednesday evening, to celebrate the 26th. anniversary of its erection. There was a full -programme of songs, recitations, competitions and games, which were greatly enjoyed by all present, including three ear loads of Opotiki friends. A bountiful supper was provided by the ladies, and was thoroughly appreciated on a very cold evening. A substantial sum was realised for the Church Fund.

The happy gathering concluded with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”.
