APPOINTMENT OF BISHOP
S YNO D POSTPONED 'The special synod of the AAaiapu diocese which was to have been held in Napier this week has been postponed on account of the difficulty which would have been experienced by some members in travelling to Hawke’s Bay under the present uncertain road conditions. The .meeting lias been called primarily for the purpose of selecting a successor to the late Rt Rev. H. AA . AVilJiams as Bishop of AA’aiapu. St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Opotiki, will be represented by Rev. 0. G. >G. Salt and Air S. T. Keen.
