ORPHAN’S CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Opotiki Orphans’ Club was held in the 3tasonio Hall on Wednesday night. Bro. A. G. Stevenson, the retiring president, presided 'over an attendance of thirty members. The annual report was presented by the president, ancl the bal-ance-sheet by' the lion, treasurer. Bro. L. J). Duff. ’J he balance sheet showed a satisfactory credit balance. „ Election; of Officers. Patron, Bro. A. N. Davies. President, Bro. A. G. Stevenson. Vice-presidents, Bros. G. Dawson, A. Dehreceny and AY. A tide i son. Hon. Secretary, Bro. E. C. East. Hon. Treasurer, Bro. L. I). Dull. Hon. Auditor, Bro. G. L. Day K, Hon. Conductor, Bro. S. Ml. MigiUl. Chief Steward, Bro. A. Docigypn. Committee, Bros, iieg./.cfiderson, Harvey Hawkins, C. T-ihb, Keith. Forbes, Alt. Burton and ,ii.* L. Parkinson. The subscription was fixed at 15s. to include admission for the member and two ladies to ladies’ evening. ■•• Lithe. meeting night was fixed for the Thursday of the month.
