He Luxe Theatre on Tuesday ainl Wednesday. “Mountain Music’’ is the tale of Bob Burns who runs into Martha in a strange city. Bob thinks lie’s wealthy, and so does Martha, and when they discover that lie’s really only a hillboy who ran out on marriage to* a girl he didn’t love, it’s a shoes to both of them.'Terry Walker plays the girl Bob left behind hinl —but Terry doesn’t care . about that. She's looking for' Bob, to. take him back home, so that his brotli'cr, John Howard 1 , whom she loves, can -be. freed from a. charge of having murdered Bob. The trio*—Bob, Martha and Terry return home, just as Howard is about to be convicted. The judge and jury, recognise Bob, but insist that no matter if Howard didn’t kill him, tliey’ve found him guilty, and he’s got to suffer. But Mlartlia decides things have gone far enough. How she settles the mess, and gets Howard off, is far too good to be told: here —you’ll have to see it for yourselves. Four new hit tunes, written in the traditional hillbilly manner, will be’ heard for the first time in “Mountain Music”. “A DOCTOR’S DIARY” John Trent, new Paramount screen “fiiicU who graduated to films Horn a post as an air transport pilot, plays the leading male romantic role in ‘ A Doctor’s Diary,’’ the dramatic photoplay which screens with •‘Mountain .Music’’ at the Be Luxe Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday. Helen Burgess, who comes to the mature direct from a top role in Cecil B. De Mi lie’s “The Plainsman,” plays ‘opposite Trent.
