W.D.F.U.

The annual meeting of the W.D.F. U. was held oil Thursday last in the Parish Hall. There was a fair attendance! and many apologies lor absence were received on account of the unfavourable weather which prevailed. Mrs A. K. Martin presided. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and the balancesheet as presented was adopted. Mrs Martin read her annual report, taking this opportunity of thanking the committee and all members for their help and co-operation throughout the year. * The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs A. E. Alaitin. Vice-presidents, Airs W. Lowe, Mrs J. Barbour and Mrs AY. Neal. Secretary and treasurer, Airs S. Alaxwell. Advisory members, Airs lox and Mrs AV. Lowe. Committee, Alls AA\ Burgess, Airs C. Hill and Airs K. Nowtli. with power to add to their numbers. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Airs Neal and Airs Burgess.
