W.D.F.U. GARDENING CIRCLE

The monthly meeting or the W.D. F.l' .Gardening Circle was held recently at. the residence of Mrs MeGregor. Woodlands. There was a good attendance presided over by Mrs Fox. There was a general discussion on flowers in the course of which Mrs .McGregor gave some helpful suggestions on growing cyclamens. The competition, for the best flower was won by Mrs S. B. Webb with Mrs McGregor second. Bulbs ot tulips and cyclamen were given to each member present. It was decided to hold., a garden party at Mrs Slialfoon’s residence in May, ; A dainty afternoon tea" was served after which Mr* Fox proposed a vote of thanks to the hostess. Votes of thanks were also passed for the secretary and president.
