In most cases quality was first class but . heifers were small and competition was not keen. Prices: dairy sorts, 18-month i.c. licjfers, marked, to £6 os; others, £3 10s to £4 ss; weaner Jersey heifers, 35s to £2 10s. Store cattle : fat cows, £4 3s to £4 10s; medium cows, £3 12s to £4; good forward cows, £2 19s to £3 iOs; store cows, £2 to £2 Ss; boner cows, 2,8 sto 355; cows with calves, to £4.-14s; 23-year steers, to £6 15s. Bulls, heavy weights, £5 to £5 12s 6cl.
