1.0.U.F. The fortnightly meeting of the I--0.0. F. Lodge was held on Tuesday night and was presided .over by Bro. W. G a ski 11. N.G. It- was decided to approach the Manchester Unity Lodge with the idea of arranging a . game of indoor bowls between teams representing the two lodges. 31.1M.0.0.F. There was a large attendance at tile fortnightly meeting of the Manchester Unity Lodge held last Monday night in the Lyric Hall. The • Noble Grand, Mr A. W. McGregor, expressed appreciation of the way in which the branch was rapidly in- * creasing in membership. Li months it had doubled itself. Two distinguished visitors were present from Group Office, Isay of Plenty District. Bro. Attwoocf, ancl Sister Attwood, 1.P.N.0., Taneatua Lodge. Bro. Attwoocl gave brief instruction on the different emblems and signs engraved on the diploma that is presented to each member that passes through the office of vice-grand. Com- ' ment was also' made on the high standard of the ritual of-tlie Branch considering it had been iflljJkisteme only a few months. .After the meeting a. delightful supper wasxse-rved by the stewards and an \foor bowls tournament was enjoyed.
