The next sitting nt Opotiki of the Native Land Court will commence on 11th. April. Annual Meeting. The annual meeting of members of the Opotiki branch of the N.Z. Farmer's’ Union will be held at the office of the secretary Mr. ,T. H. Pearson, on Saturday; next commencing at 11 a.m. • Tenders. Tenders are invited for the purchase of the Opotiki Herald building for removal. Hie building may be inspected at any time. Revenue Up. At yesterday’s meeting of the Bay of Plenty Povet; Board, Air. Dicker referred to the finances of the Bqard for the year, and said that business had continued to show a steady increase, and was exceeding the estimates. Bowling Tournament. An interesting bowling tournament will lie played on the Opotiki Citizens’ Bowling Chili’s green on April 10. Particulars are advertised. W.C.T.U. \ Hie members of the W.C.T.U. have organised a Cradle 801 l party to Lie held at the residence of Mrs James Thompson to-morrow. An indication of the steady progress being made by the Bay of Plenty Power Board is shewn by the figures submitted in the engineer’s report. This shows that in the past 12 months OS additional ranges have been installed. Motors (excluding milking and bulk supply) have increased from 114 to 140, and domestic water heaters have increased from *3OO to OCS. , 1.0.0. F.
