historical Pamphlets The Opotiki Borough Council lias received the following letter from the Under-Secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs in connection with historical pamphlets: — “In preparation for the Centennial in 1946 and for general purposes, the Department is now forming a collection of historical pamphlets. It Is known that a number of local authorities have, in the past, " issued such publications in commemoration of tlieir jubilees or on other suitable occasions, but the Department is not in possession of a complete list of those issued. Any such publications would form useful to tlie collections now being made and I should be pleased if local authorities would forward to the Department a copy of any publications of this nature in tlieir possession. Suitable acknowledgment will be made of the receipt of any copies so forwarded.”
